Open from April through September (by prior arrangement), it offers an atmospheric escape for couples, adventurers, cyclists, and Tentipi owners who want to sleep under canvas while enjoying thoughtful facilities and quiet beauty.

The Wild Garden
This is not manicured camping — it's intentionally wild, enclosed by old dry-stone walls, shaded by ancient trees, and alive with birdsong. The garden follows the Bureau stream and looks out toward the Caroux–Espinouse foothills and the source of the Bureau. It is peaceful, private, and subtly magical.

Tipi Terraces
The heart of the space is a set of hexagonal stone terraces, each crafted precisely to fit Tentipi 7 or Tentipi 16. Perfect for guests who bring their own Tentipi. When available, we can also provide our own tipis for you. Each terrace is sheltered among fruit trees, protected by dry-stone walls, with views over the valley.

Village Context
You're staying in a real village, not a commercial campsite. Ardouane is a tiny hamlet with authentic character, where you can walk to local shops and restaurants in nearby Riols (3 km), and the spectacular medieval village of Olargues (12 km) — classified among France's most beautiful villages.

In Brief
• Rewind Garden is a seasonal wild tipi retreat in Ardouane, Haut-Languedoc, open April through September.
• It features canvas tipis on stone terraces, an outdoor kitchen, and open-air shower facilities. You can bring your own tents/tipis or—on prior request—we will erect our tipis for your exclusive stay.
• It's for couples, adventurers, cyclists, and Tentipi owners who want to sleep under canvas (and the stars) while enjoying the nature of the Jaur valley. It is not suitable for pets. On consulation we can provide access to our EV charging facility.
• Rewind Garden can be combined with other La Funky Barn spaces for a complete indoor-outdoor experience.

Do I need my own tipi?
You can bring your own Tentipi (7 or 16), or we can provide tipis when available. The stone terraces are designed to fit these specific tent sizes.
