Tipi Tent Glamping
A seasonal, nature-immersive wild tipi retreat
April–September • By Prior Request

The Wild Tipi Retreat is our seasonal outdoor sanctuary — a riverside garden where simple, thoughtful comfort meets wild nature. Open from April through September (by prior arrangement), it offers an atmospheric escape for couples, adventurers, cyclists, and Tentipi owners who want to sleep under canvas while enjoying thoughtful facilities and quiet beauty.
The Wild Garden
This is not manicured camping — it's intentionally wild, enclosed by old dry-stone walls, shaded by ancient trees, and alive with birdsong. The garden follows the Bureau stream and looks out toward the Caroux–Espinouse foothills and the source of the Bureau. It is peaceful, private, and subtly magical.

Outdoor kitchen: thoughtfully designed for meal prep, with a fridge and sink housed in a renovated stone shed. Large table for 6 diners provided under the shady pergola.

Tipi Terraces

The heart of the space is a set of hexagonal stone terraces, each crafted precisely to fit Tentipi 7 or Tentipi 15. Perfect for guests who bring their own Tentipi. When available, we can also provide our own tipis for you. Bring your own tent or Tentipi in April and May, as our tipis will not be up before June. Each terrace is sheltered among fruit trees, protected by dry-stone walls, with views over the valley.

Warning
The host cannot be held responsible for any accidents resulting from failure to follow these safety instructions.
Village Context
You're staying in a real village, not a commercial campsite. Ardouane is a tiny hamlet with authentic character, where you can walk to local shops and restaurants in nearby Riols (3 km), and the spectacular medieval village of Olargues (12 km) — classified among France's most beautiful villages.
